形態特徵

• Plants ca. 50 cm tall. Rhizomes long and distinct, terete, 5-8 mm in diam.; shoots 5-9 cm apart. Pseudobulbs small or obscure.
• Leaves petiolate, linear-oblong, 20-50 cm long, 3-7 cm wide, apex acuminate, base cuneate, mainly 5-nerved; petiole ca. 10 cm long, enclosed by a tubular sheath, convolute, with sheaths forming a false stem.
• Scapes arising from rhizomes, ca. 20 cm tall, with many tubular scales below; bracts soon deciduous; pedicel and ovary 15-20 mm long, glabrous. Flowers congested in a head-like raceme, yellow, not widely opening; dorsal sepal oblanceolate, 15-17 mm long, 4-6 mm wide, acute; lateral sepals obliquely oblanceolate, 16 mm long, 5-6 mm wide; petals oblong-linear or spatulate, 14 mm long, 4 mm wide; lip spurred, 3-lobed, 12 mm long, 10-12 mm wide, lateral lobes triangular ovate, terminal lobe obtriangular or nearly rectangular, apex emarginate and truncate, disc with 2 large divaricate protuberances; spur 1-1.3 cm long, nearly parallel to ovary; column slender, slightly curved, 10-12 mm long, connate only near base with base of lip; anther ovoid-cordate, 2-celled, cell indistinctly 4-cellular; pollinia clavate, yellow, waxy, 2 mm long, connected by caudicles to globose viscidium; stigma solitary, rounded; rostellum recurved, triangular, unlobed, obtuse at apex.

• 台灣 : in broadleaved forests below 1,500 m throughout the island.
• 世界 : Southern China, the Himalaya, northeast India, Thailand and Indochina.
